Easily the second best frontman of the grunge era (In my opinion no one will ever beat Kurt for that title). Both Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone are some amazing pieces of the early grunge movement, and not to be ignored. However, Wood died tragically after the release of Apple by Mother Love Bone. Yet another casualty of heroin. Kids, don't do drugs. Listen to this instead:
