A message on facebook prompted me to check out THE SHIMMER, an English band. I directed myself to their myspace and was very much pleased by the song Headlights. It's really reminiscent of Interpol, and the singer comes fully loaded with that Paul Banks swagger (even though I'm from Cleveland I'll keep myself from saying simply "swag"). The other song sounds completely different (same band, wha?!), and is good in it's own way, but I personally prefer Headlights.
